This mini-institute is presented as a proud partnership by New York Council of Administrators of Special Education (NYCASE), Putnam|Northern Westchester BOCES, and Public Consulting Group. SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER: Dr. David Bateman, national special education expert, author and scholar, will lead an engaging training on the impact of trauma and Covid-related disruptions on students with disabilities and students with special needs – now, and going forward. Dr. Bateman will offer guidance on critical hot-button topics such as legally compliant IEPs and best practices for collecting and utilizing progress-monitoring data.
