NYCASE is proud to announce the continuation of the New Special Education Administrator Institute (NAI)
New York Council of Administrators of Special Education is pleased to announce the third year of our professional development opportunity for administrators new to special education or those that may want a refresher. Throughout the school year, NYCASE will be offering a series of informational sessions designed to support new special education administrators and CSE Chairpersons. Sessions are designed to provide basic information needed to survive your first few years as a new special education administrator with opportunities for networking with colleagues. Sessions are currently scheduled and you may join one or all of the sessions. All sessions are virtual via Zoom. Sessions are free and only for paid members of NYCASE. You must be a member to attend. WIHD 2025 Transition Institute
NYCASE is Pleased to announce a professional development opportunity from one of our partners the Westchester Institute for Human Development Details coming soon! WIHD’s Community Support Network (CSN) hosts a Transition Institute, an annual conference on post-secondary transition covering topics ranging from employment options, inclusive college programs, social and recreational programs, systems navigation, self-advocacy, and policy issues. While this event had been in person in years past, last year’s was held virtually, and we have started planning this year’s Institute to also be virtual. Save the Date!
